Background

My most significant learning did not happen in a gym.

It happened during physically demanding blue-collar work that placed uneven stress through my joints and movement patterns.

That period exposed weaknesses I did not know I had.

With guidance from my sister, who studied sports medicine, I began correcting muscle imbalances and joint loading patterns. The difference in strength, stability, and durability was immediate.

After qualifying as a personal trainer, that understanding was further developed through structured coaching practice.

Today, that experience shapes how I coach.

Clients do not just train harder. They train smarter. Programs are built to balance load across joints, reduce injury risk, and allow consistent training without breakdown.

Sporting Foundation

Athletic background spans boxing, athletics, soccer, cricket, tennis, Australian Rules football, and taekwondo.

Boxing remains the strongest influence in my coaching. It demands coordination, agility, conditioning, and disciplined movement under fatigue.

It builds precision and resilience.

That influence carries into every program I design.
